The motto of World of the Bible is “Bringing the World of the Bible to the Word of the Church”. This has been Dr. Price’s aim now for 33 years and he has accomplished this in teaching, writing books, producing videos filmed in Israel, and annual tours to Israel, and leading actual biblical archaeology at Qumran the site of the Dead Sea Scrolls discovery. This has been a great experience for all who have had the opportunity and several people have actually sifted out some significant artifacts out of the soil such as coins from the 2nd Temple period. Of course, these artifacts went to the Israeli Antiquities Authority but it was exciting to make the find!
