Saturday, April 10th  – Fly on your self-booked flight to a beautiful springtime 2nd Timers Tour of Israel.   All should schedule their flights (we recommend non-stop international flights but you are free to choose a one stop in Europe) to arrive preferably by 5:15 pm on the 11^th (most late evening direct flights on the 10th for all airlines leaving from NYC area arrive late afternoon in Israel) .   You can fly in earlier in the day on the 11th but check in at the Dan Panorama Hotel-Tel Aviv is not until 3:00 pm. The group will depart from the airport at approximately 6:15 pm for the hotel with Dr. Price and our guide.

Sunday, April 11^th – Arrive TEL AVIV late afternoon, meet Dr.Price and our Israeli guide, Michael Schneider and bus driver and depending on your arrival flight, after leaving Ben Gurion Airport we can drive past Independence Hall (where Israel announced its statehood in 1948). Time permitting, we will visit Anu Museum to see the Codex Sasson (earliest complete Hebrew Bible) or visit TelQasile (Philistine site from the time of the Judges). We will then check into the Dan Panorama Tel Aviv  and we will have a fabulous expansive buffet dinner and a good night’s rest!

Monday, April 12th   – Coastal Plain – After breakfast, we will checkout of our hotel. Drive to the National Maritime Museum (Haifa), then visit Mt. Carmel and Muchraka, the Druze Village (site of Elijah’s confrontation with the prophets of Ba’al) and then Tzippori (Sepphoris the large Roman-era city where Jesus may have worked as a youth. We drive to the Galilee, check into the David’s Harp Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Tuesday, April 13th   – Galilee/Golan Heights– After breakfast, we will depart for a climb up Mt. Arbel (where Herod established his reputation for cruelty) for an amazing view of the whole of the Galilee. Next we visit Old Testament Geshur (Bethsaida), where Absalom fled to his mother the Queen and to tour the Palace of Agrippa and Byzantine City at Caesarea Philippi. Then to explore the ruins of the Temple of Augustus at Khirbet Omrit. We lunch and finish the day visiting the
site of Hazor (conquered by Joshua and later one of Solomon’s chariot cities) and then Qatzrin (a restored Talmudic-era village similar to the time of Jesus). Return to the David’s Harp Hotel and overnight.

 Wednesday, April 14th – Galilee/Jordan Valley – After breakfast, we will check out of our hotel, visit En Harod (the spring where Gideon and his men were tested). Then we drive south through the Jordan Valley to investigate Herod’s Winter Palace at New Testament Jericho. We lunch and then visit Qasr el Yahood (site of Joshua’s crossing into the Promised Land and probable site of John’s baptizing). Next we attempt to climb to the Qumran caves to explore where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Lastly, we drive to Jerusalem with an overview stop on the Mount of Olives. Drive to the Dan Jerusalem for check in, dinner and overnight.

Thursday, April 15th  – Jerusalem–  After breakfast, we will visit the City of David (Temple Zero, latest excavation work at the Pool of Siloam, and the newly opened Pilgrim Road) and to visit the Ophel and Givati Parking Lot excavations which are adding new knowledge to the time of the First and Second Temples. Drive to Jaffa Gate (site of a Roman 10 the Legion Marker). We lunch and then see the Temple Mount models and aqueduct at Christ’s Church (oldest Protestant Church in the Holy Land). We visit the Tower of David and History of Jerusalem Museum and excavations at Herod’s Palace.  Visit Damascus Gate (Hadrianic Gate and exhibits). Return to the Dan Jerusalem hotel for dinner and overnight.

Friday, April 16th  – Jerusalem– Following breakfast, we will visit the Pater Noster Church, the Church of the Ascension, Gethsemane Cave (meeting place  of Jesus and Disciples) and the Shroud of Turin exhibit at the Hospice de Notre Dame. After we visit the First Temple Tomb Complex at Ecole Biblique (possible Tomb of the Kings). We will then visit the traditional site of Lazarus Tomb at Bethany. After lunch, we visit Nabi Samuel (burial place of the prophet), and the Hill of Evil Counsel (where Solomon built high places for Chemosh and Molech and where at the homes of Annas and Caiaphas the plot was made to crucify Jesus). Return to the Dan Jerusalem hotel for dinner and overnight.

Saturday, April 17th  – Jerusalem Area/Valley of Elah– After breakfast, we will begin our day with a visit to proposed sites for the Road to Emmaus (Motza, El-Qubeibeh, Kiriath Yearim and Amwas-Nicopolis (as local conditions warrant). Next we will visit Tel Gezer (Canaanite city later foritifed by Solomon) and then to the  Elah Valley to visit Tel Azekah (site of Saul’s army at the time David slew Goliath) and Khirbet Qeiyafa (10th century BC Judean city that has evidence  for early Israel). After lunch, we visit biblical Gath (Tel es-Safi), the Philstine home of Goliath and the Tel Marasha (ancient Judean city that has beautiful remains from the Hellenistic period) and Beit Guvrin (a biblical site whose unique cave structure made it a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Return to the Dan Jerusalem hotel for dinner and overnight.

Sunday, April 18th  – Hebron/Samaria– (This day is dependent on the security and political situation). After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and we visit Hebron (The Tomb of the Patriarchs). We will then head north and visit Shiloh (where the Tabernacle came to after Joshua brought Israel into the land and where now the Red Heifers are being maintained) and then on to Tel Balata (ancient Shechem from the time of Abraham). We lunch then we will visit Mt. Gerazim (site of the Samaritan temple) and, as possible, Mt. Ebal (Joshua’s Altar), and Samaria (Samaritan Village), the ruins of Ahab’s Palace and Roman Sebastae). We drive to Tel Aviv for our farewell dinner and transfer to Ben Gurion for our flight home.

Monday, April 10th  – The flights arrives early AM at NYC area airports, transfers happen to domestic flights for home with your wonderful memories of more of the land of Israel!

Group air is unavailable so we can guide you for the personal booking of flights to get you to Israel about the same time as the group air and you will pay WBM a Land Only price of $TBD), 4 or 5 star star Hotels with half board (Breakfast and Dinner),and all Guide/Bus/Tips cost.  Single supplement is $TBD for this tour. Price given is cash price (payment by check or Zelle).

A Credit Card can be accepted but with 3.5 percent up-charge (6% for non-USA cards). Please know if using a credit card and you make an error, such as hitting the payment button twice, when we send the payment link we can only refund the tour cost over-payment but not the 3% or 6% processing fee as our CC processor will not refund the fees.  If you have a problem with the CC charge process please call us FIRST before starting a dispute with your card provider.  It is much easier to resolve with out the dispute process!

NOTE:  For trip cancellation insurance for limited reasons (sickness, death in the family, etc…) see  https://worldnomads.com (under 70) or https://worldtrips.com  for  all ages. The best value “cancel for any reason” trip insurance (more expensive) is probably through https://battleface.com , but do compare with others.  A minimum of a travel insurance medical policy is recommended and not included in pricing. Do look at all terms for these policies to make sure you understand what you are buying.

VERY IMPORTANT: After final payment date and our payment to our agent (usually 60 days or so prior to the tour) is made, there is very limited refund available by us if you cancel (other than cancellation of the tour by us or our agents). This is why trip cancellation insurance should be carefully considered!

NOTE: IT IS IMPORTANT FOR BEST COVERAGE (CONCERNING PRE-EXISTING MEDICAL CONDITIONS) TO SIGN UP WITHIN 14 DAYS OF REGISTRATION FOR ANY POLICY.

$500 per person deposit due upon registration, payment in full is due by January 15th. Cancellations in writing and confirmed by phone (512-557-3140) received on or before December 20th will receive a full refund less $150 cancellation per person and administrative fee, cancellations after December 2oth and before final payment deadline will result in the loss of at least $250 of the $500 deposit.

Cancellations after FINAL and FULL payment date will be subject to refunds based on the refund/credit policies of the respective airline carriers and ground operators to which payments for services have been paid and result in full loss of the $500 per person deposit.

In most cases a percentage of monies may be debited by these providers. Interruption of trip for any reason will be subject to regulations imposed by respective providers. World of the Bible Tours, and Sar-El Travel assume no responsibility for refunds on any unused portion of the trip. Trip Insurance is recommended for protection in case of cancellation issues. Payment of deposit is indication of agreement with all the tour terms listed.

NOTE:  In the case of cancellation of International flights to Israel for reason of pandemic or conflict in Israel and the decision by WBM to cancel the tour, all trip payments will be refunded minus $150 per person and the 3% credit card fees if you paid by credit card).

Meals are half-board (breakfast and dinner) daily within the hotels or guest houses, or outside restaurants as scheduled by the Tour Director. Lunch is not included, although time for a brief lunch break will be provided. At such times all food and beverage purchases are the sole responsibility of the participant. Missed meals (for whatever reason), substitution meals, and additional food and all beverage purchases at scheduled meals, room service, food items in store in the room, etc. are the sole responsibility of the participant. Snacks or meals at any time on the tour or in transit to the tour are the participant’s responsibility.

Tips to the bus driver, the tour guide, hotel staff, restaurants and miscellaneous people are included in the package price. Generally, this tip amount, which is specified on the Registration form, is paid with your final payment as Dr. Price tips for the whole group. Porterage is provided for one bag only between designated carriers upon arrival at foreign destination hotels. Excess luggage should follow the recommended tip schedule of $1 per bag. Each participant is responsible for their own luggage to and from tour arrival and home departure airports. Weight allowances vary with airlines and each participant is responsible for obtaining correct information from their carrier and for paying excess pounds. Carriers are now typically charging $100 for the second checked bag either way.

World of the Bible Tours, Sar-EL Travel, its tour hosts, and any other sponsoring organizations, designated persons, airlines and their representatives, act only in the capacity of agents for passengers in matters relating to all means of conveyance, lodging, and all other services in relation to tourism domestic and foreign, and as such hold themselves free of responsibility for any damages from any causes whatsoever and assume no liability for any injury, delay, loss, or accident occasioned by equipment defect, fault or negligence of any person(s) or company entrusted with fulfilling the services and/or arrangements of the tour. We furthermore accept no responsibility for inconveniences or expenses caused by delays, changes of any kind, or other conditions that may affect the passenger in any way. We reserve the right to change any tour arrangement should conditions warrant (based on the judgment of the tour operators) and will attempt to substitution of equal value (as is possible in the estimation of the tour director). We also reserve the right to decline, accept or retain any person as a member of the tour for any reason. In such cases refund for the unused portion of the tour will be made according to the refund policy as set forth in this document. We are also not to be held responsible for any event, act or omission occurring while passengers are under the control of scheduled or unscheduled conveyances. The passage contract in use by such carriers shall constitute the sole contract between these carriers and the purchaser(s) and/or passenger(s) of this tour. These terms and conditions apply from the moment of registration and payment of deposit and remain in effect until the conclusion of the tour and return to Newark or other International departure point.

Accommodations in Israel are in four- or five-star hotels. All rooms are double occupancy. Triple occupancy is possible at a reduced charge but is not necessarily recommended. Single Occupancy rooms are available at the additional rate specified on the Registration form. Participants who join the tour without a roommate will have a roommate assigned. In the event that no roommate is available before the final payment is due the participant must pay the single supplement rate. Any substitutions or alteration of these arrangements during the tour due to personal preference and other reasons are the sole responsibility of the participant.

Insurance is not included for any losses whatsoever. Please purchase your own insurance for trip cancellation, life and health, and any other coverage required (there are several tour insurance web sites to compare prices at).

Costs and tips to porters, taxi drivers, and restaurant wait staff for personal services are not included in the group tipping program, beverages not included with meals (bottled & mineral water, coffee & tea [included at breakfast only], soft drinks, laundry, personal items, and other conveyance fares not specified as a part of the tour package, or any other item or expense not detailed in the terms above are also the sole responsibility of the tour participant.

Transportation in Israel is usually provided by our agent Sar-EL Travel or their agents. Complete Flights (home city to Tel Aviv-TLV) purchased by participants under Land Only arrangement are their sole responsibility. Transfer to and from the airport, conveyance within countries, between hotels and tour sites by bus.
