Description: A study of the question of the relationship between the Jewish eschatology of the Dead Sea Scrolls and the eschatological view of Premillennialism. The argument is made that the hermeneutical model demonstrated in the Scrolls is most like the eschatology of early Jewish Christianity, which is best represented today by the school of premillennialism. Includes charts of the historical development of the Qumran community and its eschatological perspective. |
